Glory of Arabs is an independent bilingual (Arabic–English) cultural publication based in Cairo that explores contemporary Arab artistic practices through lived experience, language, and visual expression. The publication brings together twenty artists from eleven Arab countries and the diaspora, creating a platform for dialogue that centers artists’ own narratives.

Through interviews and visual material, Glory of Arabs engages with questions of identity, heritage, memory, displacement, and creative resistance. The project approaches Arab culture as layered and evolving, shaped by personal history and collective context, moving beyond monolithic or stereotypical representations.

Developed and self-published by Dalia El-Layeh, a Cairo-based designer working across editorial design, type design, and calligraphic experimentation, Glory of Arabs functions as an archive-in-progress and a space for exchange, contributing to a broader cultural discourse connecting Arab communities across geographies and generations.
